I received it in the mail when I was about to cancel, on a day when I had no shipping notice and could apply for cancellation. I am glad it was not a mix-up. A shipping notice would have been helpful.

Delayed shipping is fine, but we would like to have some kind of comment in that case. Writing in your profile that you may be late is not an excuse for being late.
